I've pretty much decided to go ahead with the 100_prompts challenge, though I'm going to start with one of the smaller prompt tables, instead of trying to go head to head with one of the monster, one hundred prompt tables.

Woohoo. I'm quite looking forward to this, though I don't know where I'm going to start just yet. Up until my claim is officially accepted at the group (which might take a while, as both mods are on hiatus), all of what I manage to write will be posted here, as well as at my InsaneJournal, and possibly other fic comms that I happen to stumble across. For the curious, the universe I'll be writing in will be Star Wars, though it'll be both AU and EU; that is, an alternate, extended universe. That could be due to the fact that I've not read any of the EU novels, and don't really intend to in the near future, unless one of them should magically fall into my lap and I've nothing else better to do.
Anywho, more relevant info behind the cut, since I think at least some bare bones details are in order so that I don't confuse people.

So, yeah. Nearly seven AM blathering and whatnot, and I'll likely be editing this stuff at some point. Also, Tresk won't be the only original character of mine to pop up, most likely. This is rather different from my normal journal appearance... but I kinda like it. All in all, I'm finding that I like InsaneJournal far more than LJ, even if IJ doesn't have quite the same amount of handy, pre-made layouts for us people who don't know jack squat about CSS. I also don't have hideous ads on my page, that annoying bar at the top of every journal I look at, and one hundred--that's right--one hundred icon spaces, free of charge, and without sacrificing the look of my journal to aforementioned hideous advertisements.
I could really learn to like it here.
In other news, I may have gotten sucked back into LJ, against my better judgement. Though I'll likely post them here, as well, I sorta stumbled across 100_prompts, and I rather like everything I see there. I'm crap at accurately writing canon characters. I'm not an actor. I can't mold myself to fit a specific roll. What I am is a creator, and if you give me a chance to write my original character...

So I have an IJ now. Whoo.
My enthusiasm is boundless, isn't it? Not the most visually charming of journals, I know, but my CSS skills are usually very lame, and today I'm too lazy to try and hack someone else's look up some information to write my own.
